I wanted to test the waters to see if anyone would be interested in free tutorials using TurboCAD for architecture. More specifically, tutorials covering the use of our templates. Post a comment if you’re interested and if you have any specific areas to cover.
Here’s some free symbols to go along with our free architectural template…enjoy!
If you’re looking for a great cad program for architectural design then you can’t go wrong with DoubeleCAD XT from IMSI. Known as the free version of AutoCAD LT, DoubleCAD will do just about everything any full-featured cad program can. I’ve played around with the program since it came out and it’s a great package. It’s especially great for those who want to do small architectural or mechanical design projects without shelling out a ton of dough… or any dough for that matter. So check it out! You can download a free copy here.
Today, we’re giving away a great template for anyone who uses TurboCAD for architecture. The template comes fully loaded with preset model spaces, blocks, titleblock, viewports and a collection of details. If you download the template, please “like” or “tweet” this post! UPDATE: I’ve added another template for those using v17, should eliminate the error when opening in v18.
